The challenge: To design an elevated business to business shopping experience for salon professionals. I took the lead in designing a customized wholesale e-commerce interface along with a fully integrated rewards program. The result was the migration of an existing over-the-phone ordering system into a luxury, self-service online shopping portal. A massive 60-page UX document was produced for just the rewards program alone.
Art Direction & Design.
This was LBP’s debut entry into the online space, in which I got to imagine the visual language from the ground up. We paired the striking presence of Brandon Grotesque with the proven couture and elegance of Freight Display, to create the typographically driven look of a premium luxury experience.
Designing The Rewards Program.
One of the largest phases of design and UX was around the creation of a unique rewards program for LBP clients. We spent months planning out the flows behind the earning and redemption of reward points across different reward tiers, as well as designing intuitive interfaces for clients to keep track of their earnings and to incentivize spending.
